The problem
Bandwidth and backbone costs needed to be allocated across cost centers and posted as journal entries, a process that was manual and repetitive.
The approach
Built a PL/SQL-based integration that calculates cost allocations and posts the corresponding journal entries into Oracle GL on a scheduled basis.
